The PNG Hunters have completed their 31 days of quarantine spread between Port Moresby and Brisbane, and have now arrived at their new home base, the Gold Coast Performance Centre. This season, the Hunters will remain in Australia to compete in the Intrust Super Cup, an expected 7 month stay.

The Hunters have joined the Centre’s family as they will be based at the facility for accommodation, dining, training and recovery. Most home games will be played across the road at the Runaway Bay Leagues Club.

The team have 2 lodges at the Centre, with plenty of space to be comfortable during the season. And with a commercial gym, 2 pools, ice baths and rooms for activation, treatments and workshops, the team have the resources they need to have a great season ahead.

The team are incredibly excited for the opportunity as without the support from the QRL, DFAT, PNG Government, Queensland Health and local authorities, the Hunters would have been forced to miss the 2021 Cup.
