Referral from a doctor is not required unless you are claiming through Veterans Affairs, Workcover or third party insurance.
If you have been in an accident, or suffering a particular problem, your doctor or surgeon may suggest you see a specialist. Ask them to refer you to Atkins Health. We also send comprehensive reports to your doctor to keep them informed.
Consultation fees can be claimed if you carry extras cover on your private health insurance. For your convenience, we can claim your benefit from most funds automatically on the day of your treatment. We can also provide Medicare rebates.
If you are covered by Workers Compensation or The Department of Veterans Affairs, we can send the accounts directly to these organisations on your behalf.
The clinic is open five days a week, from Monday to Friday. We are flexible and will strive to arrange a time that suits you. If you are unable to make an appointment, please let us know in advance so we can free up the time slot for other patients.
